Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Cyber Technical Specialist, Junior to support cyber mission operations, modeling & simulation, and security program activities for national defense. You will help assess cyberspace capabilities, evaluate mitigations, and brief senior leaders involved in Joint Staff training.

Qualifications include experience with distributed modeling, network operations, DoD cybersecurity policies, a Secret clearance, HS diploma or GED, and DoD DoW 8140.3 IAT Level 1

Cyber Technical Specialist, Junior

The Opportunity: As a cyber mission specialist, you understand the value of hunt-forward operations, and you know that battles are won in the grey. At Booz Allen, you can use your cyberspace operations experience to create solutions that will be executed on a worldwide stage. We’re looking for a cyber mission specialist like you to apply your skills in operations, design, development, documentation, and operation of distributed computer Modeling & Simulation and security program support and impact our nation’s defense.

In this role, you’ll be counted on to help understand cyberspace capabilities to evaluate potential weaknesses as well as the effectiveness of mitigations for cyber security solutions. You’ll work with your team to leverage cyberspace operations systems to aggregate threat feeds that inform briefings for senior leadership aligned to the Joint Staff conducting cybersecurity management of modeling and simulation activities. This is an opportunity to use your research and analysis skills to adequately assess and inform operators and senior leadership and commanders on dynamic adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures for Combined Joint Training efforts. Your role will be vital in the development of operations plans to support command and control.

You Have:

• Experience with operations, design, development, documentation, and operation of distributed computer Modeling & Simulation
• Experience in Network Operations, including LAN and WAN, wireless communications and cloud platforms, simulation operations, infrastructure and network management, program compliance and processes, alarms, and security program support
• Knowledge of Cybersecurity Risk Management Framework
• Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED
• Cybersecurity DoW 8140.3 IAT Level 1 Certification

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with DoD Cybersecurity policies, directives, and DoD STIGs
• Experience leveraging ACAS, CMRS, and eMASS tools
• Experience assessing organizational risks and recommending mitigation strategies
• Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Compensation

The projected compensation range for this position is $52,900.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD).
