Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Cyber Systems Security Engineer (CSSE) for the TTWCS program in King of Prussia, PA. The role focuses on risk assessment, STIG evaluations, and secure design validation within a collaborative team of cybersecurity professionals.

The position requires DoD Secret clearance eligibility, Linux/Windows security experience, and proficiency with automation tools like Ansible; hybrid onsite work is required three days per week with up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years in cybersecurity, systems engineering, information assurance or related field.
  • Experience securing Linux and/or Windows operating systems in enterprise or mission environments.
  • Experience with Ansible and deployment automation.
  • Experience with vulnerability scanning and remediation tools.
  • Experience with scripting languages and automation tools.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

The Work

As a Cyber Systems Security Engineer (CSSE) supporting the TTWCS program, you will:

  • Perform periodic manual and automated STIG evaluations, tracking deltas across versions and platforms.
  • Conduct cyber risk assessment activities, including threat modeling, vulnerability analysis, and evaluation of mitigation strategies.
  • Develop, analyze, and validate security AI design constraints within the cyber domain.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity engineers, system architects, and developers to ensure robust, secure system solutions.
  • Conduct cybersecurity test and evaluation of hardware and software to verify compliance with requirements.
  • Apply and ensure consistent use of cybersecurity processes, methods, techniques, and tools.
  • Prototype and implement software solutions supporting assessment and authorization activities required by customers.
Please Note

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD government clearance at the Secret level.

This position is based out of King of Prussia, PA and is hybrid but required to work onsite 3 days a week.

This position requires the ability to travel up to 10%.

Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, systems engineering, information assurance or relevant experience
  • Experience securing Linux and/or Windows operating systems in enterprise or mission environments.
  • Experience with Automation tools specifically Ansible and familiarity with deployment automation
  • Experience with vulnerability scanning and remediation tools.
  • Experience with scripting languages and automation tools
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance (or higher, as required).
Desired Skills
  • Possess an approved DoD 8570 baseline certification for IAT Level II (CISSP, CAP, etc.)
  • Experience supporting DoD weapon systems, aviation platforms, or classified mission systems.
  • Experience with Containerization technologies to include Kubernetes and Openshift
  • Experience with Virtualization platforms/hypervisors
  • Experience implementing container security and Kubernetes hardening.
  • Familiarity with SIEM Tools deployment and administration specifically ArcSight
  • Experience with Zero Trust architecture and cyber resiliency engineering.
Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $110300.00 - $204900.00
