Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a cybersecurity engineer to apply an interdisciplinary approach across the lifecycle, from planning through verification, to develop and validate cyber solutions for complex systems. The role includes threat modeling, vulnerability analysis, and coordinating with architects to ensure robust security designs.

Candidates should have DoD 8140 IAT II+ or equivalent, experience validating IA policies and security controls, and the ability to travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• DoD 8140 IAT Level II or higher certificate or equivalent.
• Experience implementing and validating IA/Cybersecurity policies.
• Experience implementing security controls at system/subsystem level.
• Experience with cyber security assessments on complex information systems.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent.
• Ability to travel as required (up to 20%).

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, develop, validate and verify cyber solutions across the lifecycle.
• Conduct cyber risk assessment activities including threat modeling, vulnerability analysis, and mitigation evaluation.
• Coordinate with cyber and system architects to provide oversight in solution development.
• Perform cybersecurity test and evaluation to verify compliance with requirements.
• Ensure consistent application of cyber security processes and procedures.
