Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Alabama seeks a cybersecurity professional to plan, design, develop, validate and verify cyber solutions across the lifecycle, conducting risk assessments, threat modeling and vulnerability analysis to strengthen systems.

You will coordinate with cyber architects, perform security testing, ensure compliance with requirements, and support assessment and authorization activities; DoD standards and security clearances are part of the role.

Qualifications

• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
• Networking fundamentals
• Strong technical writing skills
• Ability to effectively interact with internal and external customers
• Strong teamwork skills
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent team orientation
• Active interim or final Secret security clearance or ability to obtain

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, develop, validate and verify Cyber solutions across the lifecycle
• Conduct cyber risk assessment activities including threat modeling, vulnerability analysis and mitigation analysis
• Coordinate with Cyber and system architects to oversee solution development
• Conduct cybersecurity test and evaluation to verify compliance with defined specs
• Apply cyber security processes, methods, and tools consistently
• Perform Assessment and Authorization activities as required by customers
