Job summary

VT Group (VTG) is seeking a Systems Engineer to safeguard critical national security interests by leveraging advanced systems intelligence and precision cyber capabilities. The role focuses on Linux installation, configuration, operation and maintenance of systems hardware, software and related infrastructure.

The candidate will manage Linux and application-based system services, support developer apps, and handle operations, troubleshooting and research to ensure continuous operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
• 6 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, network exploitation, or related fields
• An active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
• Must be able to travel up to 10% CONUS

Responsibilities

• Install/configure, operate, and maintain systems hardware and software and related infrastructure
• Responsible for Linux, and application-based system services and developer-based applications that support the infrastructure
• Operations and support, troubleshooting, configurations, installation, maintenance, and research to ensure continual operation
