Job summary

Arcfield is seeking a Cyber Systems Engineer to support defense partners within a Model-Based and Digital Engineering approach. The role focuses on assessing cybersecurity posture, performing gap analyses, and developing roadmaps to meet DoD/government standards.

Collaboration with the Systems Engineering team will integrate Cybersecurity into the architecture model. The candidate will trace CCIs, provide briefings to stakeholders, and contribute to artifact generation for CDRLs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline; Master’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant systems engineering experience with demonstrated range safety knowledge.
• Ability to support customer core hours (0900-1500; Mon–Fri).
• Must possess and be able to maintain a Secret Clearance.
• Demonstrated expertise in cybersecurity principles and systems engineering activities.

Responsibilities

• Assessing existing system design for cybersecurity posture.
• Producing a gap analysis to align cybersecurity posture with government standards (NIST, CISA).
• Developing a roadmap to meet compliance for government standards.
• Collaborating with Systems Engineering to include Cybersecurity in the Architecture Model.
• Defining, tracing, and updating CCIs within the Systems Architecture Model.
• Providing briefings to customer and government stakeholders on Cyber posture and mitigation plans.
