Job summary

Carnegie Mellon University’s CERT Division seeks a senior cybersecurity architect to lead strategic support for government program offices. You will guide security architectures, evaluate SoS designs, and develop roadmaps aligned with mission objectives.

The role involves traveling up to 20% to sponsor sites and CMU communities, and you will mentor junior staff while contributing to diverse, high-impact projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field is required or equivalent experience.
• MS/PhD with cybersecurity, network operations, MBSE, or related areas is preferred.
• Experience with government or critical infrastructure cybersecurity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to the development and architecture of security solutions.
• Assess and analyze system-of-systems architectures and identify capability gaps.
