Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Cyber Software Engineer to join the CSS team in Fort Worth, TX. You will develop cybersecurity solutions, identify vulnerabilities, and build tooling to automate security workflows across software pipelines.

In this role you will collaborate with software developers, perform threat modeling, and contribute to red/blue team activities. A strong background in software development and security is required, with hands-on experience in Kubernetes, Docker, and scripting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering/CS/Cybersecurity or related field.
• Experience in software development and programming.
• Network and System Administration skills.
• Experience in Kubernetes and Docker.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of cybersecurity solutions and tools to address complex cyber threats.
• Conduct assessments of code to uncover vulnerabilities and map attack vectors.
• Collaborate with Software Development teams to integrate testing into pipelines.
• Design and integrate tools to automate security assessments of software products.
• Develop fuzz testing on embedded systems to fortify defenses against exploits.
• Evaluate open-source packages for vulnerabilities and malicious code.
• Provide cybersecurity guidance and threat modeling expertise.
• Act as SME in cybersecurity and software development across Lines of Business.
