Applied Signal Technology (AST), part of RTX, is seeking a Software Engineer II with a strong background in cybersecurity and networking for onsite work in Anaheim Hills, CA. You will work with experienced engineers on system development for the protection of our nation, designing, coding, testing, and documenting software to enhance core processing systems.

The role requires a STEM degree and at least 2 years in C/C++, Python, or Rust, plus experience with APIs, networking, and backend

Formación

• Requires STEM degree and 2+ years of related experience.
• Experience developing in C/C++, Python, and/or Rust.
• Experience with system-level integration and testing.
• Experience with APIs, networking, and backend software.
• Active TS/SCI clearance required prior to start; U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, test, and document software for defense systems.
• Design, code, and integrate software for cybersecurity and networking applications.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and customers.
• Present briefings to customers and management as necessary.
