Job summary

SEACORP is seeking Software Engineers at all experience levels to build mission-critical software for the U.S. Navy.

As a Software Engineer on SEACORP's Cyber Team, you will design, build, and test software to support cybersecurity, resilience, and secure operation of the SWFTS program on submarine platforms. You will join a multidisciplinary team delivering software, automation, data services, and prototypes using Java, Python, and C++.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 1+ year of experience in software development.
• Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance (active not required).

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, integrate, and document software solutions in Java, Python, and C++.
• Develop applications, APIs, automation, and prototypes for Navy cyber/data systems.
• Work on defined scope, schedule, and expectations.
• Participate in an Agile team with daily scrums, two-week sprints, and increments.
• Use Git, Linux, and Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Learn modern cybersecurity, data, cloud, container, and AI-assisted development on the job.
