Job summary

SEACORP is seeking a Software Engineer on the Cyber Team to design, develop, test, and deploy mission-critical software for the U.S. Navy.

You will work on SWFTS program components, building APIs, automation, data services, and prototypes with a multidisciplinary team of SEACORP and government engineers. The role supports cybersecurity, resilience, and secure operation of submarine warfare systems, using Java, Python, and C++ in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/SE/Engineering or related field; grads welcome.
• 1+ year of software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or C++.
• Interest in cybersecurity and cyber-related software development.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and collaborate.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, integrate, and document software solutions in Java, Python, and C++.
• Develop applications, APIs, automation, and prototypes for Navy cyber and data systems.
• Work in an Agile team with daily scrums and two-week sprints.
• Use Git, Linux, and the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence).
• Learn modern cybersecurity and data/cloud development on the job.
