Job summary

Garmin is seeking a full-time Cyber Security Vulnerability Analyst 2 at its U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area.

You will independently configure and perform vulnerability scanning to identify risks to networks, OS, applications, and other information system components. The role involves working with stakeholders to determine remediation timelines, prioritizing risk-based actions, and developing metrics to monitor vulnerability management program health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 1+ year of relevant experience or equivalent
• Analytical skills and ability to stay composed under pressure
• Familiarity with CVSS framework and NVD

Responsibilities

• Review and configure automated tools to identify vulnerabilities
• Coordinate remediation timelines with stakeholders and execute remediation plans
• Perform vulnerability scans and analyze results to prioritize risk-based remediation
• Develop and track remediation timelines with system owners
• Create metrics and reports on vulnerability management health
• Communicate findings clearly to cross-functional teams
