Job summary

Penske is seeking a Systems Engineer – Cyber Security to join a team of experts in Reading, PA. You will maintain network, server and workstation firewall protection and provide security reviews, incident detection, and monitoring across multiple systems.

You will define security models for new systems and collaborate with IT teams to improve usability and security posture. You will lead security projects, mentor Security Administrators and offshore contractors, and develop disaster recovery

Qualifications

• Detailed understanding of Cloud Security fundamentals, including cryptography and the shared responsibility model.
• Experience defining security models for new systems and evaluating security products.

Responsibilities

• Oversee setup of user security access and monitor data systems to safeguard company information.
• Provide security reviews and define security models for new systems.
• Audit access to mission critical applications and maintain SOX/PCI compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with IT teams to discuss and resolve usability issues on security projects.
• Define, implement and update security architecture across platforms, networks and applications.
• Develop, implement and update security policies and procedures for hardware, software and network infrastructure.
