Parsons is seeking an ABAD Cyber Security Systems Engineer Associate for an international assignment at Ramstein AFB, Germany. You will review ABAD concept of operation, architecture and design, and oversee documentation work.

You will oversee SIEM analysis, develop security policies, perform risk assessments, support RMF, and coordinate with government authorities to ensure compliance and robust protection of systems.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years relevant experience or 11+ years military/specialized experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with threat detection and prevention, endpoint monitoring, data protection, vulnerability management and access control.
• Knowledge of network design, fault isolation, performance monitoring, configuration management standards/principles.
• Experience with RMF (Risk Management Framework).
• IAT-Level II Cyber Certification required.
• Secret Clearance required with ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance.

Aufgaben

• Oversee analysis of security alerts using SIEM systems and tools.
• Develop system policies and procedures for protecting system software and hardware.
• Perform assessments of systems/networks to ensure compliant configurations.
• Establish program control processes to mitigate risk and support certification/ accreditation.
• Assist in implementing government policy (e.g., NISPOM, DCID 6/3) and tailor processes.
• Analyze to validate security requirements and recommend safeguards.
• Support formal Security Test & Evaluation (ST&E) through pre-test prep, testing participation, analysis, and reporting.
• Review system audits and monitor corrective actions until closure.
