Job summary

Abacus Technology Corporation seeks a Cyber Security Analyst to provide information assurance support at Hanscom AFB. This full-time role focuses on ensuring security requirements across systems and guiding the customer community per DoD and AF IA programs.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in IT, a related degree, Security+ CE, RMF/Cyber Defense knowledge, and hands-on experience with SharePoint, Active Directory, ServiceNow, and Windows environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years IT and systems support experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; additional years may substitute for degree requirements.
• Must be Security+ CE certified.
• Strong knowledge of Air Force, DoD and applicable Federal IA/Cyber directives and Instructions.
• Knowledge of RMF process and Cyber Defense.
• Experience with SharePoint; Windows Desktop OS; Windows Server OS; Active Directory; and MS Office.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow.
• Proficient with computer and server hardware.
• Able to capture and report metrics.
• Must be self-motivated, able to work in a team or independently, with strong customer service and communication skills.
• Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide information assurance oversight, guidance and support to customer community per DoD/AF IA programs.
• Ensure systems/networks/computing environments meet security requirements and that risks are mitigated.
• Provide IA/cyber security services in support of system-level certification and accreditation processes.
• Track and manage all open security-related problem reports and fixes.
• Provide support for Certification and Accreditation (C&A) requirements and re-accreditation.
• Ensure configuration management for systems/networks/computing hardware is documented and maintained.
• Support creation, management, and processing of accounts, DLP.
• Provide support with Classified Message Incidents.
• Review IAVM alerts, bulletins and STIGS for applicable implementation and remediation.
• Provide support to maintain a comprehensive network security policy.
• Create, review and update SOPs and AF Checklists.
• Review FFRDC System Security Plans and provide support as needed.
• Assist with TEMPEST certification for Classified Processing Areas.

Overview

Abacus Technology is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to provide information assurance support at Hanscom AFB. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities

• Provide information assurance oversight, guidance and support to the customer community in accordance with Federal, Department of Defense, and U.S. Air Force Information Assurance programs.
• Ensure applicable systems/networks/computing environments meet security requirements and that all security risks for those environments are properly mitigated.
• Provide technical and programmatic information assurance/cyber security services in support of system-level certification and accreditation processes.
• Track and manage all open security-related problem reports and fixes.
• Provide necessary support for Certification and Accreditation (C&A) requirements as well as re-accreditation requirements.
• Ensure configuration management for systems/networks/computing systems and hardware is documented and maintained.

• Review all Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) alerts, bulletins and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGS) for applicable implementation and remediation in the customer's network/computing environment(s).

• Review FFRDC System Security Plans and provide support as needed.

Experience with SharePoint; Windows Desktop Operating Systems; Windows Server Operating Systems; Active Directory; and MS Office. Knowledge of ServiceNow. Proficient with Computer and Server Hardware. Able to capture and report metrics. Able to resolve issues quickly and efficiently. Must be self-motivated, able to work well in a team or independently, and have strong customer service skills, troubleshooting skills, and communication skills.Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
