Job Description

The Cyber Security Systems Administrator will be responsible for managing and securing information systems, ensuring compliance with security standards, and supporting cybersecurity initiatives.

Minimum Requirements

• Proficiency with Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Windows Server, and CompTIA Security+
• Experience with applying updates, configuring policy rules, and managing Trellix HBSS endpoint security
• Strong PowerShell scripting skills for automation and troubleshooting
• Experience with systems and application management tools like MECM and WSUS
• Knowledge of STIG compliance and automation of security checks and remediation
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Understanding of cybersecurity protocols, CVE, and security standards like NIST
• Ability to document processes and identify areas for automation and improvement

Desired Experience and Skills

• Experience with Ansible, ESXi, ACAS, HBSS, STIGs
• Self-motivated with SME expertise in cybersecurity testing and compliance
• Experience in vulnerability management, scanning, and mitigation

Additional Responsibilities

• Monitor system security controls and maintain POAM documentation
• Conduct cybersecurity assessments and vulnerability scans
• Implement patches and monitor vulnerabilities on network systems
