ManTech is seeking a motivated East Coast Cyber Security Specialist IV to join our Dam Neck, VA team. This on-site role involves detecting and reporting cyber threats, administering security technologies, and supporting identity and access management as part of a government-industry collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Nine years of IT or cyber security experience.
• Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS.
• Familiarity with the US Navy and NSWC Corona RS Division and NCTE preferred.
• On-site role at Dam Neck, VA five days a week.

Responsibilities

• We detect, identify, and report potential cyber attacks, intrusions, anomalous activity, and misuse.
• We administer technologies that support cyber security and protect assets and data.
• We provide operational support for identity management, privileged user access, access control, endpoint protection, internet protection, vulnerability scanning, and SIEM.
• We develop and implement enterprise mitigation measures in response to complex vulnerabilities.
• We enforce cyber security policy and participate in incident response.
• We often lead by coordinating others’ work without being a supervisor.
• We work independently within established procedures and practices.
• We apply broad and/or deep expertise across processes, procedures, and systems.
• We travel about 10% and support client meetings and functions between government and company sites.

Salary: $100,000 - 140,000 per year

Requirements

• We require a bachelors degree, although four years of relevant experience may be substituted for the degree.
• We require nine years of information technology or cyber security experience.
• We prefer a master of science degree in information technology or a related discipline.
• We prefer familiarity with the United States Navy.
• We prefer experience with NSWC Corona RS Division and NCTE.
• We require a current active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS.
