Saalex Corp. is seeking a Cybersecurity Support Analyst in Keyport, Washington, to support DoD cybersecurity efforts onsite. The role focuses on RMF compliance, system hardening, vulnerability assessment, and accreditation documentation for Navy and DoD systems.

You will apply STIGs, run ACAS scans, prepare SSP/SAR/POA&M packages for ATO, and maintain secure configurations across production, development, and test environments, while ensuring DoD 8140.01 guidelines.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with the essential functions listed above.
• Active Top Secret clearance and US citizenship required.
• DoD 8140.01-based certifications such as CISSP, CASP+, CCSP, GSLC are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Navy/DoD accreditation documentation.
• Evaluate and maintain system security configurations.
• Assess vulnerabilities with approved DoD tools.
• Ensure RMF compliance per NIST SP 800-53.
• Perform security engineering, STIGs, ACAS scans, and RMF packages for ATO.
• Other duties as assigned.

Cybersecurity Support Analyst

Keyport, WA.

Position Type: Full-Time

Salary: $90k-$135k annually (depending on experience)

Work Location: Full-time onsite

Essential Functions

• Prepare system accreditation documentation required by the Navy and/or DoD Evaluate security configurations of systems
• Maintain security configurations of production, development and test systems by applying and configuring security controls
• Assessing system vulnerability using approved DOD tools.
• Information System Security Engineers (ISSEs) acting as RMF practitioners are responsible for ensuring DoD/federal systems comply with security controls (NIST SP 800-53) throughout the lifecycle.
• Key requirements include conducting security engineering, system hardening (STIGs), vulnerability scanning (ACAS), and creating RMF packages (SSP, SAR, POA&M) for authorization (ATO).
• Other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with the essential functions listed above.
• Awarded and current certification(s) sufficient to be designated as Cyber Security Workforce Risk Management - Advanced or Information System Security Management -Advanced (CSWF Specialty Areas 61 or 72 respectively) in accordance with DoD 8140.01 examples include:CISSPCISMCASP+CCSPGSLC

HS Diploma or GED required.

Active Top Secret clearance required. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.
