ARS is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Manager SME to support the maintenance and security of DoD and Air Force computing systems and networks (both unclassified and classified). The ideal candidate will provide multi–discipline expertise covering project management, system security engineering, system administration, and network administration while ensuring compliance with DoD cybersecurity frameworks and directives. This role will assist the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) in implementing the Risk Management Framework (RMF) for DoD IT systems and support Assessment and Authorization (A&A) activities. Candidate must possess an active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance.

Responsibilities include:

1. Maintain and support DoD and Air Force computing systems and networks, including classified systems (SIPRNet).
2. Perform system trusted downloads, burning classified CDs, and maintain/update host system patches.
3. Implement mandated system vulnerability mitigations and manage user accesses/accounts.
4. Assist the ISSM with cybersecurity compliance for Platform Information Technology (PIT) systems.
5. Develop, modify, review, and coordinate cybersecurity documentation including System Security Plans, risk assessments, and Plans of Action & Milestones.
6. Support the RMF process for Assessment and Authorization (A&A) of assigned systems.
7. Conduct vulnerability, threat, and risk assessments on systems, modifications, and interconnections.
8. Assist with Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V) of security requirements for weapon systems.
9. Perform cybersecurity site audits to verify architecture, requirements, and controls.
10. Support Software Assurance (SWA) activities including pedigree identification and vulnerability analysis.
11. Assist with Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) planning and implementation.
12. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Technical Experience Requirements:

1. Must be a US citizen.
2. Master's degree with 12+ years experience (5+ in DoD), Bachelor's with 15+ years experience (5+ in DoD), or 20+ years directly related experience with proper certifications (8+ in DoD).
3. DoD 8570.01–M baseline certification appropriate for position category (IAT, IAM, IASAE, or CSSP) – If currently do not possess the required baseline certification or continuing education, must be willing to attain the required certification within 6 months of start date.
4. Proficiency in Windows Operating Systems, Windows group policy objects, and DoD PKI.
5. Experience with DoD Cybersecurity, NIST RMF, and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
6. Knowledge of Endpoint Security Systems/Host–based Security Systems.
7. Experience with DoDI 8500.01, DoDI 8510.01, JSIG, and NIST 800–53 compliance.
8. Ability to obtain/maintain classified systems administrative privileges.
9. Experience supporting cybersecurity documentation development and review.

Desired Qualifications:

1. Experience with Software Assurance (SWA) pedigree identification and analysis.
2. Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) experience.
3. Experience conducting Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V).
4. Familiarity with Director of Central Intelligence Directive (DCID) 6/3.
5. Experience with cybersecurity site audits and Assessment & Authorization processes.
6. Knowledge of Platform Information Technology (PIT) determination processes.
