Job summary

FedEx is seeking a cybersecurity leader to guide the development of intelligence-driven protections for email, data, e-commerce and web systems. The role involves implementing security across application, network, data, identity and mobility domains, researching breaching attempts and communicating risk to management.

Hybrid role located near Plano, TX or Pittsburgh, PA or Memphis, TN with on-site collaboration several times per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science or information security.
• Five or more years of IT information security experience.
• Experience with security frameworks and risk management.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Essential Functions: Implement and support technologies deployed across application, network/perimeter, data, endpoint, identity & access, and mobility domains. Researches attempted or successful efforts to compromise systems security and designs countermeasures. Provides information to management regarding the negative impact on the business caused by theft, destruction, alteration or denial of access to information and systems. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's degree/Equivalent in computer science, information systems and/or equivalent formal training.

Minimum Experience

Five (5+) years of experience in IT information security.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Skills include IT security and infrastructure.

Strong technical and consulting skills, project management capability.

Experience with security and risk frameworks, standards and best practices.

Strong communication skill.

Domicile

This is a hybrid position located in Plano, TX or Pittsburgh, PA or Memphis, TN. Candidates must live within 50 miles of the campus location. Employees will be required to work at the FedEx campus location several times per week.

Pay Range

Plano, TX: $10,231.53 / mo - $13,812.57 / mo

Pittsburgh, PA: $10,231.53 / mo - $13,812.57 / mo

Memphis, TN: $9,719.96 / mo - $13,121.94 / mo
