Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated in Shelton, CT is seeking a Manager of Cyber Operations to translate security strategy into actionable execution. You will be an individual contributor overseeing threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and the SOC team responsible for 24/7 defense of the enterprise.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of cybersecurity operations experience
• Hands-on experience with SIEM/EDR and incident response
• Strong networking, endpoint, and cloud security knowledge
• Certifications such as CISSP, GCIH, GCIA, or CISM preferred
• Excellent communication and teamwork; ability to translate technical findings

Responsibilities

• Lead SOC operations and direct analysts and engineers for 24/7 monitoring, detection, and response
• Support incident response lifecycle including triage, containment, eradication, and post-incident review
• Drive vulnerability management with scanning, prioritization, remediation tracking
• Manage security tooling (SIEM, EDR/XDR, SOAR, OT, threat intel) to improve detection
• Develop and refine incident response plans and playbooks
• Monitor threat intel and adjust defensive posture to evolving threats
• Report MTTR/MTTD metrics to Sr. Director and coordinate with IT teams
• Work with MSSPs, MDR providers and third-party vendors
