• This position requires pursuing a full-time degree in IT, Cybersecurity, CS, or a related field.
• Graduation date December 2027 or later.
• Available to work a minimum of 25 hours per week, year-round.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and manage security alerts and events within the SOC.
• Investigate, elevate, and respond to security incidents to mitigate risks.
• Perform daily security operations, including threat hunting and incident management.
• Use tools such as SIEM, endpoint protection, and network monitoring systems to detect threats.
• Conduct regular vulnerability scans, risk assessments, and penetration tests.
• Remediate identified security deficiencies and vulnerabilities.
• Develop and maintain security monitoring and alerting processes for critical systems.
• Investigate and analyze security incidents to determine root causes and impacts.
• Participate in on-call rotations to support security operations.
