Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Cyber Security Manager - Diego Garcia to lead cybersecurity operations for mission-critical IT/OT environments in a highly secure aerospace/defense setting. This remote US-based role will partner with stakeholders to maintain safeguards, ensure compliance, and support operational continuity in change situations.

The position combines hands-on cyber operations with documentation and coordination to keep critical systems reliable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations, maintenance and upgrades.
• DoD Cyber Workforce credentials for Network Operations, Systems Administration, and Control System Security at the intermediate level.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Must possess a security clearance for access to Navy networks.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, calibrate, and maintain IT/OT systems for FRCS.
• Implement and assess cybersecurity measures on systems and components.
• Capture and maintain written procedures in government‑approved format.
• Coordinate activities to ensure functional integrity during changes.
• Troubleshoot systems to ensure reliability and compliance with policies.

For our client, we are seeking a Cyber Security Manager - Diego Garcia to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space.

This role will lead cybersecurity operations for mission-critical industrial and information technology environments supporting essential services in a highly secure setting. The manager will partner with technical stakeholders to implement, maintain, and improve safeguards that protect systems, ensure compliance, and support operational continuity. This is a hands‑on position with responsibility for both day-to-day cyber operations and the documentation and coordination needed to keep critical systems reliable during change.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 annually

Responsibilities
