Samsung Austin Semiconductor is hiring a Cybersecurity Engineer to build and maintain the organization’s security infrastructure and response capabilities. The role focuses on threat detection, incident analysis, monitoring, and incident response across on-prem and cloud environments.

You will collaborate with SOC, IT, and business teams to minimize risk, document processes, and continually improve security posture.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science or related field.
• Security certification is a plus.
• 2-4 years of experience in Cyber Security.
• Experience in, or eager to learn, system‑engineering disciplines such as networking, Linux, and Windows Server administration.

Mansioni

• Detect and respond to cyber threats; monitor security events and incidents.
• Investigate and analyze security incidents to determine root cause and containment steps.
• Manage monitoring and alerting across endpoints, servers, AD, cloud, and network devices.
• Coordinate incident response across SOC, IT, and business teams to minimize impact.
• Create and maintain security documentation for operations, incident response, and governance.
• Scan external media devices for threats and enforce removable media security policies.
