Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our cybersecurity infrastructure. You will monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents while guiding threat detection and incident response across endpoints, servers, cloud, and networks.

Qualifications

• Security certification is a plus.
• 2–4 years of experience in Cyber Security.
• Experience in, or eager to learn, system-engineering disciplines such as networking, Linux, and Windows Server administration.

Responsibilities

• Threat detection across security monitoring, detection engineering, threat hunting, and incident response.
• Incident Investigation and Analysis to determine what happened, how, and affected systems.
• Monitoring and Alert Management to reduce false positives and ensure incidents are investigated and resolved.
• Documentation to maintain security processes and repeatable workflows.
• Scanning external media devices for threats to prevent malware and data exfiltration.
