Qualifications

• Experience implementing and managing SIEM tools (Splunk or similar).
• Hands-on security engineering in production environments.
• Lead with technical guidance while performing hands-on work.
• Monitor advisories and threat intel to stay current.
• Knowledge of network, endpoint security tools, and firewalls.
• Strong scripting (Python/PowerShell) and DevSecOps experience.
• Clearance: active TS/SCI with polygraph preferred.
• Familiarity with cloud security and compliance tooling.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, monitor, and upgrade security controls and tools.
• Design and maintain security technologies (firewalls, HBSS/Trellix, SIEM).
• Respond to security events and support incident remediation.
• Participate in change management to maintain security posture.
• Conduct vulnerability scanning and track remediation to closure.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor engineers across teams.
• Serve as escalation point for complex security issues.
