Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4–8 years in Cyber Security, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years RMF experience preparing and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity policy (A&A).
• IA Level I cert or higher (e.g., A+ CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network+ CE, SSCP).
• 2+ years with Tenable Security Center and Nessus.
• 2+ years with SCAP Compliance Checker (SCC).
• Knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 Rev 4/5.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
• Active DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI access; U.S. Citizen required.

Responsibilities

• Interpret, implement, and maintain STIGs across Windows, Linux, network, and virtualization.
• Plan, upgrade, and monitor cybersecurity measures to improve posture.
• Collaborate with software teams to ensure secure coding practices.
• Assess vulnerabilities in releases and propose remediation or risk mitigation.
• Ensure security controls during development and in fielded systems.
• Engage with release planning to advocate secure, relevant design.
