Job summary

The role focuses on securing complex command, control, intelligence and combat systems and supporting critical missions in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will lead security engineering activities, implement and maintain RMF, STIGs, and ensure compliance with DoD requirements while collaborating with software and systems

Qualifications

• Six or more years in Cyber Security or related field.
• Active DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI access.
• U.S. Citizens per government requirements.
• IA Level I or higher certification (e.g., A+ CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network+ CE, SSCP).
• Two+ years of experience with Tenable Security Center and Nessus.
• Two+ years of experience with SCAP Compliance Checker (SCC).
• Knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 Rev 4 or Rev 5.

Responsibilities

• Experience interpreting STIGs across Windows, Linux, network, and virtualization.
• Plan, implement, monitor cybersecurity measures to protect systems.
• Work with software team to ensure secure code during development.
• Assess vulnerabilities and propose remediation or risk mitigation.
• Ensure security controls are in place during development and in fielded systems.
• Engage with release planning to advocate for secure systems.
