Job summary

Textron Systems is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer I in Hunt Valley, MD. The role focuses on providing cybersecurity engineering support for next-gen technologies and proven platforms to protect warfighters.

You will contribute to RMF assessment/authorization to achieve IATT or ATO, use tools like ACAS, Nessus, NMAP, and develop remediation plans. Occasional travel (<10%) and teamwork in an engineering environment are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field (CS/Cybersecurity/Info Assurance/CE/IS)
• Ability to obtain U.S. government Secret security clearance
• Ability to obtain DoDD 8140.01 / DoD 8570.01-M IAT II or higher certification within six months

Responsibilities

• Provide cybersecurity engineering support on next generation technologies and proven platforms
• Assist RMF assessment and authorization to achieve IATT/ATO
• Use vulnerability and compliance tools (ACAS, Nessus, NMAP) and analyze results against STIGs/SRGs
• Develop remediation and mitigation plans and implementation packages
• Travel <10% to support cybersecurity activities
• Collaborate within an engineering team to govern day-to-day activities
