AmeriGas Propane, Inc. is seeking a cybersecurity analyst to protect systems and data from theft, misuse, and breach while supporting incident investigations, threat detection, and vulnerability management.

The role involves configuring security appliances, monitoring SIEM/logs, and guiding cloud security with IAM, logging, and telemetry collection. A Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in cybersecurity are required, with ITIL and intermediate cloud certs expected within 12 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Three (3) or more years of cybersecurity analysis experience.
• ITIL Foundation certification (at hire or within 12 months).
• Intermediate cloud certification required (AWS/Azure) or equivalent (AZ-500/AZ-104).
• Preferred: CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer cybersecurity technology including SIEM, log management, EDR, email security, vulnerability management, and DNS security.
• Lead research, review, and management of cybersecurity events; assist with incident response planning and remediation.
• Develop and enforce policies to ensure information system reliability and accessibility; implement new security measures and monitoring.
• Monitor security of cloud environments, IAM, logging, and cloud-based alerts.
• Conduct cybersecurity training; mentor staff on policy, procedures, standards, and tools.
• Perform security assessments and assist with internal penetration tests; recommend new security tools and guide implementation.
