Job summary

Elevexa Career LLC is seeking a cybersecurity engineer to protect enterprise systems, applications, networks, and cloud environments from security threats. You’ll work across security operations, vulnerability management, cloud security, and incident response.

In this role you will design and maintain security controls, monitor for suspicious activity, investigate and respond to incidents, perform vulnerability assessments, and automate security processes where appropriate.

Qualifications

  • 3–7+ years in cybersecurity or information security.
  • Strong knowledge of network and endpoint security, IAM and vulnerability management.
  • Experience with SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, firewalls and monitoring tools.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP security.
  • Familiarity with TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, VPNs and network protocols.
  • Incident response and threat investigation experience.
  • Scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
  • Familiar with NIST/CIS/ISO 27001 security frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

What We’re Looking For

  • CISSP, Security+, CEH, OSCP, or cloud security certifications.
  • Experience with SIEM platforms such as Splunk or Microsoft Sentinel.
  • Experience with EDR platforms.
  • DevSecOps and CI/CD security experience.
  • Container and Kubernetes security experience.
  • Experience with penetration testing or threat hunting.
Compensation

$110,000–$175,000+ annually, depending on experience, location, and technical expertise.
