Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer for a 12+ month contract located onsite in Bethesda, MD. The role requires a strong background in cyber security with extensive experience using CyberArk.

The successful candidate will monitor security systems, conduct assessments, develop policies, participate in incident response, and mentor junior analysts while collaborating with IT and security teams to strengthen the organization’s security posture.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in cyber security, specifically with CyberArk.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems and logs to detect and respond to security incidents.
• Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and risks.
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Assist in the investigation of security breaches or incidents.
• Deploy and manage security technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.
• Provide guidance and support to junior security analysts.
• Collaborate with other IT and security teams to enhance overall security posture.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies.
• Conduct security awareness training for employees.
• Participate in incident response and recovery efforts.

Immediate need for a talented Cyber Security Engineer. This is a 12+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Bethesda, MD (Onsite).

Pay Range: $60 - $65/hour.
