Job summary

Bain & Company is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Architect to join the Enterprise Technology team in a client‑facing role. You will shape enterprise security architectures across cloud, identity, data, and applications, guiding transformation programs and embedding secure‑by‑design principles in hybrid environments.

You will advise CISOs and senior leaders, translate technical risks into business decisions, and mentor Bain teams to build scalable cyber architecture capabilities.

Qualifications

• Ten+ years in cyber security, security architecture, and technology leadership in large orgs.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise security architectures across hybrid, cloud, and legacy environments.
• Cloud security expertise across Azure, AWS, and GCP with IAM, Zero Trust, and data protection.
• Ability to translate risks into business decisions for senior stakeholders.
• Experience applying threat modelling (STRIDE) and secure-by-design principles.
• Strong communication and mentoring skills, with ability to influence executives.

Responsibilities

• Shape enterprise, security, cloud, and identity architectures aligned with client goals.
• Develop cyber security strategies, roadmaps, reference architectures, and operating models.
• Translate requirements into pragmatic security architectures and implementation roadmaps.
• Lead security architecture across hybrid environments and cloud-native approaches.
• Advise CISOs and senior leaders on strategy, risk, and technology trade-offs.
• Advance Bain’s capabilities in cyber security architecture and zero-trust paradigms.
