Job summary

V-Soft Consulting is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst III in Chicago to lead the cybersecurity team and drive strategy aligned with business goals. The role focuses on identity and access management, threat detection, and governance across Microsoft ecosystems.

You will mentor staff, define security priorities with IT leadership, and ensure robust protection of data and assets while partnering with Fortune 500 clients.

Qualifications

• Experience managing Entra ID / Azure AD identity and access management, including CA and PIM.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender products and Defender for Endpoint.
• Experience configuring and using Microsoft Sentinel for threat detection and response.
• Familiarity with data governance and information protection via Purview.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Microsoft Security Operations

• Oversee Entra ID (Azure AD) identity and access management, including Conditional Access and Privileged Identity Management (PIM).
• Conduct regular reviews of security configurations and policies across Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
• Administer and optimize Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Identity, Cloud Apps, and Office 365.
• Manage and monitor Microsoft Sentinel for threat detection, incident response, and log analytics.

Implement and maintain Microsoft Purview for data governance, compliance, and information protection.
