Position Summary:

The Customer/Vendor Contract Analyst plays a critical role in safeguarding the organization’s data and systems by ensuring that all vendor and customer contracts meet stringent cybersecurity and data protection standards. This position involves close collaboration with legal, procurement, and cybersecurity teams to identify and mitigate risks embedded in contractual agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth reviews of vendor and customer contracts to identify cybersecurity and data protection risks.
• Evaluate contractual language for potential vulnerabilities and propose risk mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA), and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to incorporate security requirements into new and existing contracts.
• Maintain detailed documentation of contract reviews, risk assessments, and compliance findings.
• Monitor emerging cybersecurity threats and regulatory changes to update contract templates and policies accordingly.
• Support audits and assessments related to third-party risk management and contract compliance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in contract analysis, cybersecurity compliance, or vendor risk management.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, data privacy regulations, and third-party risk frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including legal, procurement, and IT security.
• Familiarity with contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools is a plus.
