Job summary

Clinisol Tech Inc. is seeking a Cyber Security SOC Analyst II to monitor, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity threats while supporting incident response and strengthening the organization's overall security posture.

You will work with EDR platforms like CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, or Microsoft Defender, and use SIEM tools and logging data to identify and triage threats. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of related experience and a degree in a cyber security field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in IT Help Desk, Desktop Support, SOC Operations, Cyber Security, or Incident Response.
• Experience with EDR platforms, SIEM tools, and security log analysis.
• Strong understanding of networking, Active Directory, Windows security, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and investigate security alerts using EDR platforms and SIEM tools.
• Analyze phishing, malware, and suspicious network activities to identify threats.
• Perform incident triage, investigation, containment, and escalation as needed.
• Document incidents and map findings to the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to improve threat detection and response.

Job Summary

Clinisol Tech Inc. is seeking a Cyber Security SOC Analyst II. In this role, you will monitor, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity threats while supporting incident response and strengthening the organization's overall security posture.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and investigate security alerts using EDR platforms such as CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, or Microsoft Defender.
• Analyze phishing, malware, and suspicious network activities to identify potential threats.
• Perform incident triage, investigation, containment, and escalation when required.
• Utilize SIEM, Wireshark, and Active Directory tools to support security investigations.
• Document incidents and map findings to the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to improve threat detection and response capabilities.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow, Sysmon/Windows Event Logs, VirusTotal, and basic SPL/KQL queries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in IT Help Desk, Desktop Support, SOC Operations, Cyber Security, or Incident Response.
• Experience with EDR platforms, SIEM tools, and security log analysis.
• Strong understanding of networking, Active Directory, Windows security, and incident response.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Microsoft Defender, Splunk, QRadar, or Microsoft Sentinel.
• ServiceNow, Sysmon/Windows Event Logs, VirusTotal, SPL/KQL.
• Knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK Framework.
• Basic PowerShell or Python scripting skills.
• Any certifications such as CSA, CompTIA Security+, CySA+, GCIH, or vendor-specific EDR certifications are a plus.
