Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Project Manager-Expert to support Cyber Security Governance activities. The role focuses on coordinating boards, ensuring decisions are documented, and tracking actions with senior leadership at the Office of Cyber Security.

Located at a customer site in Herndon, VA, the role requires TS/SCI w/Polygraph clearance and a background in cybersecurity or IT.

Qualifications

• Technical training, Certification(s), experience, and/or Degree in Cyber Security/CS/IT.
• 8+ years of related experience.
• Professional and collaborative demeanor.
• Very strong organizational skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management support to the Executive Director & Front Office in daily operations.
• Manage day-to-day operations and governance processes.
• Develop and maintain briefing schedule.
• Ensure briefing materials are submitted to members on time.
• Record and maintain decisions and action items in official records (MFR).
• Track actions through completion in internal system.
• Draft correspondence, briefing notes, and talking points.
• Coordinate meeting logistics and maintain briefing schedule.
• Facilitate communication across teams and leadership.
• Ensure organizational compliance with directives and standards.
• Maintain official records including MFR in customer systems.
