The Opportunity

The Senior Zscaler Engineer will oversee the implementation, management, and optimization of Zscaler security solutions. This involves working closely with various teams to ensure network security and performance, conducting risk assessments, and responding to security incidents.

Our Zero Trust services help clients align security strategies with business goals, managing access and enforcing policies. We offer a comprehensive suite of services including strategy, assessment, testing, and implementation of Zero Trust solutions, supported by strategic alliances with third-party vendors.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and manage Zscaler security solutions to protect network infrastructure.
  • Monitor and configure Zscaler services for optimal security.
  • Conduct security assessments and audits of network environments.
  • Collaborate with IT and network teams for secure deployment and management.
  • Respond to security incidents involving Zscaler solutions.
  • Implement and manage security policies within Zscaler platform.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations like GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2.
  • Provide guidance and training on Zscaler security best practices.
  • Stay updated on Zscaler security trends, threats, and technologies.
Skills and Attributes for Success
  • Strong understanding of Zscaler solutions like ZIA and ZPA.
  • Experience in configuring and managing Zscaler services.
  • Knowledge of network security best practices and standards.
  • Ability to implement security controls in network environments.
  • Understanding of firewalls, VPNs, network segmentation.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in network security or related roles.

  • Experience with network security tools and standards.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks like GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2.
  • Understanding of network security, IAM, and encryption.
  • Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Zscaler Certified Cloud Professional, CISSP) are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications in Zscaler, such as Zscaler for Users - Essentials.
  • Knowledge of additional cloud security tools (CSPM, Data Protection, AI).
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
  • Deep knowledge of Zscaler architecture and deployment.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash).

Our comprehensive compensation includes a base salary range of $73,100 to $132,900 (US-wide) and higher in certain regions.
