The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Vulnerability Management (VM) Cyber Managed Services Senior to help design, implement, and manage our vulnerability management services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vulnerability management tools and experience working with cybersecurity teams. This role is key in creating tailored vulnerability management solutions for our clients, combining technical skills with a business risk understanding.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Develop relationships by understanding client concerns, needs, and issues, and build a supportive internal network.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks, and keep stakeholders informed about outcomes.
• Stay updated on industry trends relevant to cybersecurity and client business environments.
• Assist engagement teams in evaluating and improving client vulnerability management programs across people, processes, and technology.
• Own specific portions of vulnerability management solutions tailored to client environments.
• Perform vulnerability assessments to identify weaknesses and evaluate control effectiveness.

Skills And Attributes For Success

• Knowledge of security standards like ISO 27001, CIS, PCI DSS, NIST, ITIL, COBIT.
• Experience with Windows, Linux, UNIX, and cloud/on-premise operating systems.
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability management tools (e.g., Qualys, Nexpose), including deployment and configuration.
• Ability to evaluate and select vulnerability management tools and vendors.
• Skills in root cause analysis and technical solution development.
• Understanding of cybersecurity concepts, including vulnerability management, incident response, governance, and architecture.
• Project management skills, including developing project charters and status updates.
• Scripting/programming skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
• Proficiency with Excel and PowerBi for metrics development.
• Knowledge of web vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10), cloud security, and threat intelligence tools.
• Familiarity with CVE, CWE frameworks, and metrics development for different audiences.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree + 2 years of relevant experience or graduate degree + 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Proven vulnerability management experience, including hands-on tool use.
• Experience serving diverse clients across industries.
• Strong communication skills, capable of engaging with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Willingness to travel and hold a valid US driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications

• Interpersonal skills for collaboration and presentation.
• Ability to analyze issues strategically and technically.
• Experience in consulting, influencing decisions, and managing multiple initiatives.
• Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or GSEC are a plus.

Competitive salary range: $73,100 - $132,900 (all US locations), with higher ranges in NYC, Washington, and California.
