The Opportunity

We seek an experienced Vulnerability Management (VM) Cyber Managed Services Senior to join our team. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing vulnerability management services, working closely with cybersecurity professionals to deliver tailored client solutions that address business risks.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Develop relationships and demonstrate understanding of client concerns and needs.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks, and keep stakeholders informed.
• Stay updated on industry trends relevant to cybersecurity and client business.
• Assist in evaluating and improving client vulnerability management programs.
• Own segments of vulnerability management solutions tailored to client environments.
• Perform vulnerability assessments to identify weaknesses and evaluate controls.

Skills And Attributes For Success

• Knowledge of security standards like ISO 27001, CIS, PCI DSS, NIST, ITIL, COBIT.
• Experience with Windows, Linux, UNIX, and cloud-based operating systems.
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability management tools (e.g., Qualys, Nexpose).
• Ability to evaluate tools, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend solutions.
• Understanding of cybersecurity concepts, including vulnerability management, incident response, and governance.
• Project management skills and scripting experience (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
• Proficiency with metrics development using Excel or PowerBi.
• Familiarity with security vulnerabilities, exploits, and frameworks like CVE and CWE.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience, or graduate degree with 1-2 years of experience.
• Hands-on vulnerability management experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel and a valid US driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications

• Interpersonal skills, strategic and technical analysis abilities.
• Consulting experience and cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, GSEC).
