This role involves designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive vulnerability management services, working closely with cybersecurity professionals to develop tailored client solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop relationships and demonstrate understanding of client concerns, needs, and issues.
  • Monitor project progress, manage risks, and keep stakeholders informed.
  • Stay updated on industry trends relevant to cybersecurity and client business.
  • Assist in evaluating client vulnerability management programs across people, process, and technology.
  • Own parts of vulnerability management solutions tailored to client environments.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments to identify weaknesses and evaluate control effectiveness.
Skills and Attributes
  • Knowledge of security standards like ISO 27001, CIS, PCI DSS, NIST, ITIL, COBIT.
  • Experience with Windows, Linux, UNIX, and cloud/on-premise operating systems.
  • Hands-on experience with vulnerability management tools (e.g., Qualys, Nexpose).
  • Ability to evaluate and select vulnerability management tools.
  • Skills in root cause analysis and technical solution development.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity concepts including vulnerability management, incident response, and governance.
  • Project management experience, including developing project plans and reports.
  • Scripting skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
  • Proficiency with Excel and PowerBi for metrics development.
  • Knowledge of security vulnerabilities, exploits, web vulnerabilities, cloud security.
  • Experience with CVSS, CVE, CWE frameworks and threat intelligence sources.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of related experience or graduate degree with 1-2 years of experience.
  • Experience in vulnerability management, including tool usage.
  • Experience serving diverse clients across industries.
  • Strong communication skills, ability to interact with senior management and technical teams.
  • Willingness to travel; valid US driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Interpersonal skills, strategic and technical issue analysis.
  • Consulting experience preferred.
  • Cybersecurity certifications like CISSP, CEH, GSEC are a plus.

Competitive salary range: $73,100 to $132,900 (all US locations), higher in NYC, Washington, CA.
