Job summary

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in enterprise IT security, with preference for security certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an associated field and 3 years' experience in enterprise information security.
• Preference for information security or cybersecurity certifications.
• A comparable amount of education, training, or experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Establish, develop, monitor and maintain information security standards and practices.
• Support audits, risk assessments, and vendor risk reviews.
• Assist incident response efforts and enforce security measures.
• Lead security awareness initiatives for county staff and stakeholders.
• Review third-party vendor security questionnaires and contracts for data protection clauses.
• Promote security best practices across IT, compliance, and risk management teams.
