Job summary

RTX in the United States is offering an internship/co-op role focused on defense and pen-testing of computer systems and networks. You will reverse engineer software and malware, and study architectures while developing presentation skills and working with a highly skilled team of leaders and peers.

The role requires students pursuing a bachelor's in CS/CE or STEM, with at least 60 credits completed by start date.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with assembly language (any of x86/64, ARM, PPC, MIPS, etc.).
• Experience with reverse engineering using tools such as IDA/Ghidra/BinaryNinja.
• Knowledge of security fundamentals (cryptography, confidentiality/integrity/availability, etc.).
• Understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP stacks, wire-level protocols, RF communications, BGP, etc.).

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee's personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
