RTX in Cedar Rapids is seeking a focused STEM student for an onsite internship/co-op. You will analyze and design system-level solutions, perform requirements translation to hardware/software specs, and develop verification plans.

Collaboration with experts in radio communication and crypto certification will be part of your growth. Applicants should be pursuing a STEM degree, with familiarity in Agile practices and tools like MATLAB, C++, and Python.

• Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies as well as the scrum master and product owner roles.
• Experience with the execution of integration,verificationand validation phases of a product.

Responsabilidades

• Performs analysis,architecture,and design at all levels of the total system product including concept, design, fabrication, modeling, test, installation, operation,maintenanceand disposal.
• Performs functional analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
• Provides analysis for the decomposition of customer specifications and system level requirements into sub-system and piece partrequirements, anddevelops verification criteria and plans for the requirements.
• Researches and evaluates investments or changes in technology, resources, procedures, equipment, systems, or other assets to improve the quality of the organization’s systems products and services.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Relocation Eligibility

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
