Job summary

The University of South Florida (USF) in Tampa is seeking a Cyber Range Analyst to oversee the ARCS cyber range operations within Cyber Florida. You will coordinate training exercises, manage student accounts, and document processes to optimize cybersecurity training effectiveness.

Responsibilities include designing simulations, providing tech support during exercises, onboarding students, and QA of training modules, with additional duties to prepare the range for live events and promote ARCS

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, CS, IT or related field with two years of professional experience.
Demonstrated experience coordinating and managing cyber range activities or similar training.
Strong technical proficiency in cybersecurity concepts, tools, and with ability to configure virtualized environments.

Responsibilities

Coordinate development, implementation, and operation of cyber ranges and resources.
Design and facilitate cybersecurity exercises and simulations for skill development.
Provide technical support during range exercises and interpret results.
Document processes for ARCS and manage student accounts on the range.
Assist with onboarding and perform QA on training modules.
Prepare the range for live-action events and ensure system readiness.
Assist with social media planning for ARCS Range to boost awareness.
Perform other duties related to ARCS Range operation and maintenance.
