Job summary

Command Post Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Cyber Range Operations Engineer to support the National Cyber Range Complex in Destin, FL.

This on-site role focuses on planning, configuration, execution, and sustainment of cyber range events and infrastructure. You will coordinate setups, deploy virtual machines, manage networks, collaborate with stakeholders and government partners, troubleshoot range issues, and maintain security and documentation across all activities, with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Working knowledge of VMware tools, including vSphere and ESXi.
• Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Experience with Windows and Linux administration and Cisco environments.
• Experience supporting cyber T&E or training events and DoD IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations of the NCRC-Eglin cyber range and coordinate setup and sustainment.
• Configure test environments, deploy VMs, manage networks, and validate readiness.
• Collaborate with government and event stakeholders to ensure range readiness and timelines.
• Troubleshoot system and network issues during range execution.
• Document procedures, monitor resources, and assist in change management.
