Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Cyber Range Engineer to design, build, operate, and sustain cyber range environments that train operators and test tools. You will work with red, blue, and white teams and collaborate with infrastructure engineers to reflect real-world conditions and mission objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience with cyber range platforms, including STEP, PCTE, or SimSpace.
• Experience with virtualization and building virtual networks.
• Experience with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) data flow.
• Experience with OPSEC infrastructure implementation, including Docker, Kubernetes, Redirectors, and DMZ service in both Windows and Linux environments.
• Experience with enterprise networks, including infrastructure, cloud networks, hardware in the loop (HWIL), and API connections.
• Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
• HS diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, operate, and sustain cyber range environments for training and exercises.
• Integrate tools and platforms used by red, blue, and white teams and support exercise execution.
• Document range architectures, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with exercise planners and engineers to ensure ranges reflect real-world conditions and mission objectives.
