Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Cyber Operator/Field Engineer – Level 2 in Colorado Springs, CO. The role requires a Secret clearance and involves maintenance, network coordination, and field operations across program systems.

Expect construction and installation duties, logistics support, and after-hours availability with significant travel. A STEM degree with experience or a master’s with minimal experience is typical for this level.

Qualifications

• Requires U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of professional experience OR Master’s with 0 years experience; additional 4+ years can substitute for a degree.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain Security+ Certification and US Passport.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate/lead preventative maintenance, repair, and construction/installation of Program systems, including climbing a 100 ft tower.
• Coordinate network connections and support new development of alternate network architectures
• Perform technical tasks and problem-resolution actions for the Program systems
• Assist Logistics Specialist with shipping, receiving, kitting, GFP/GFE inventory, and import/export
• Provide input to operational analysis and quality evaluation of products and update metrics
• Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions to minimize downtime
• Support after hours and weekends as needed
• Travel 25–50% to remote sites, including foreign travel
• Other duties as assigned
