Job summary

Vantor is seeking an experienced Cyber Operations Analyst to join the CSOC, providing frontline incident response and investigations for security alerts generated by SIEM and other monitoring tools. The role requires obtaining a TS/SCI clearance and full-time on-site presence in Westminster, CO, with travel up to 15% as needed.

You will monitor security tools, coordinate with MDR analysts, and work with engineering to improve log sources and automation.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
• On-site work required three days per week at Westminster, CO.
• General knowledge of network and system/app architecture; monitoring-system architecture incl. SIEM/log management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security tools and provide remediation for threats.
• Escalate security events per process and on-call duties.
• Coordinate information gathering and analyses for IT teams.
• Collaborate with MDR analysts on triage of real-time data feeds.
• Work with Cybersecurity Engineering to fix log source issues and automate responses.
• Implement changes to alerts and log sources/types as needed.
• Support vulnerability management and awareness of zero-day vulns.
• Participate in Incident Response activities.
