Vantor (Maxar Intelligence) is hiring an experienced Cyber Operations Analyst to support the Cybersecurity Operations Center (CSOC). The role requires the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance and is based on-site in Westminster, CO.

You will monitor security tools, perform initial analysis of alerts, and coordinate remediation with IT teams. The position involves on-call duties, potential non-standard hours, and up to 15% travel.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
• On-site at Westminster CO three days per week; further travel as needed.
• General knowledge of network, system and application architectures and administration principles.
• Experience with SIEM/log-management architectures and monitoring systems.
• Understanding of attacker tools, techniques, and procedures and current threat trends.
• Willingness to share on-call duties and support cyber investigations; travel up to 15%.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security tools and provide remediation responses.
• Escalate events per process and coordinate actions.
• Gather and analyze information for IT teams to clear actions.
• Collaborate with MDR analysts for triage of real-time data and alerts.
• Work with Cybersecurity Engineering to fix log source generation and tool issues.
• Update alerts, log sources/types, and runbooks as needed.
• Support vulnerability management in zero-day awareness and responses.
• Participate in Incident Response activities.
